After earning his Medical Doctorate degree from the prestigious Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, India, Dr. Bhaskar Raju psychiatrist completed the psychiatry residency program at the Hennepin County Medical Center affiliated with the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following his residency, Dr. Raju was selected for a fellowship in child and adolescent psychology at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

This specialized training underscores his commitment as a Dr Raju Child Psychiatrist and adult psychiatrist, showcasing his versatile expertise in mental health care.

Dr. Miladys N. Rivera is a Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about human behavior and mental health. She has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed a Post-Doctoral Master’s Degree of Sciences in Clinical Research, from the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences Campus, San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of a multidisciplinary cohort of health professionals sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Rivera’s experience encompasses the clinical, research, and academic contexts. Dr. Rivera has also served in a supervisory role to psychology interns and residents.

Dr. Rivera believes in change and is passionate about being a facilitator in the therapeutic process, and to guide people to see themselves as active agents in their circumstances. Dr. Rivera’s experience includes the evaluation and/or treatment of conditions, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism, mood disorders, learning disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, developmental delays, among others. She also performs pre-surgical assessments for bariatric patients and for chronic pain patients considered for pain management devices. Dr. Rivera enjoys engaging with the patient while performing a comprehensive interview that, as part of the evaluation process is instrumental in arriving to an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Rivera’s drive for people has been a motor to her engagement in research about health disparities, to participate in missionary trips, and to engage in voluntary work. In her leisure time, Dr. Rivera likes reading, spending time with family and friends, and running. Dr. Rivera is fluent in English and Spanish. As the Director of the psychological assessment and testing department, Dr. Rivera supervises post-doc residents in psychology.

Introducing Quaycian Stewart-Kodadar, a Florida licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica, Quaycian has spent years honing her skills in intensive care and emergency rooms. She is a crisis evaluation and intervention expert, adept at providing psychiatric patients of all ages with the medical and psychiatric care they need. Quaycian also has extensive experience working with individuals struggling with chemical addictions, providing initial stabilization, withdrawal monitoring, and relapse prevention. In 2022, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University. Quaycian is a firm believer in a holistic approach to healthcare, striving to address all aspects of her patients’ lives that could negatively impact their health and well-being. Her ultimate goal is to provide exceptional mental health care to her patients and their loved ones, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Viji Kumaraguru, PMHNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Dr. MGR medical university in India and served as a critical care nurse for 18 years in the Intensive care and post anesthesia care setting. Throughout her profession, Viji had a special interest towards the mental health of her patients which enabled her to render a holistic and compassionate care to the patients.

Lymarie Vilella is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida 11 years ago. She earned her Nursing Bachelor degree in Sagrado Corazon University, located in Puerto Rico. After a few years she decided to take an advanced degree to provide direct treatment for her patients. She successfully completed her Masters degree in Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. She decided to continue her Doctorate in nurse practitioner in order to provide the best quality of care for her patients.

 

She started as a Labor and Delivery nurse (2011) and knew that she wanted a personal relationship with the patients, that’s when she decided to move to women’s care (OBGYN). After a few years of experience in women’s care and medical aesthetic industry, she began to associate herself with patients suffering from post-partum depression, PTSD, and depression with psychosis. It was then when she realized that she had a particular interest for the Mental Health care field. She began to work with patients suffering from crisis in an acute unit with diagnoses such as bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and worked with U.S. Veterans. She has more than 6 years of experience working with mental health care.

Lymarie loves to provide a personal experience and educate her patients on a 1:1 level. Her goal is to help them make adequate decisions and be involved in their lives. She likes for her patients to view her as a confidant and someone who they can count on, who will listen, and help care for their mental wellbeing.

Lymarie likes to provide extended outside resources in the community and refer them if needed. On her free time, Lymarie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, being out on her boat, reading, growing plants, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Ms. Cristina Molina is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a distinguished member of the American Psychiatric Nurse Association. Possessing diverse clinical experience across various healthcare settings, Ms. Molina has demonstrated proficiency in the inpatient acute psychiatric unit, initially as a staff nurse and later assuming leadership responsibilities in Texas. Her clinical acumen encompasses psychiatric evaluation, collaborative patient treatment employing both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic modalities, and crisis intervention utilizing effective communication and de-escalation strategies. Furthermore, her clinical exposure has fueled her fervor for addressing and advocating mental health concerns across diverse demographic groups. Having recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with clinical rotations in private and public institutions, Ms. Molina intends to pursue certification in pediatric behavioral health. She is bilingual in English and Filipino and holds membership in the esteemed Sigma Theta Tau International. Residing in Florida for the past few years, she proudly aligns herself with the identity of a Floridian. Additionally, Ms. Molina’s leisure pursuits include exploring local coffee establishments around Miami, a testament to her fervent fondness for coffee.

Nadia Bowser is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a warm and approachable demeanor. She began her healthcare journey as a respiratory therapist, but her passion for patient care led her to transition into nursing. Over the years, Nadia has gained diverse experience, from case management to ICU nursing, and even served on the front lines during the COVID pandemic.

 

Witnessing the disparities in mental health care, Nadia became a dedicated advocate for her patients. This passion drove her to further her education at Herzing University, where she sought to make a meaningful impact in the mental health field. Nadia’s approach is grounded in empathy—she understands the importance of listening to patients and providing support during their most challenging moments.

 

Currently residing in Eustis, FL, Nadia enjoys listening to true crime podcasts and attending local events in her free time.

Rebeca Mendez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatry and family medicine. She has been working in the field of psychiatry since 2017, with experience spanning inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, and primary care. Rebeca provides comprehensive psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults, with a patient-centered approach that emphasizes evidence-based treatment, compassion, and collaboration. Her clinical background allows her to address both mental health and medical needs, supporting holistic care across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2015 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in 2020. She further advanced her training by completing a Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University. Rebeca is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and supporting individuals and families through high-quality, compassionate psychiatric care.

My name is Kristin Oliver. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the treatment of adults, children, and adolescents with a variety of mental health illnesses. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania where I worked in the neurology intensive care unit. I went on to get a master’s degree in family medicine from Gannon University in Pennsylvania. I have practiced as a family nurse practitioner for 15 years with a focus on pediatrics.  I received an additional master’s degree in psychiatric mental health to become a PMHMP where I now work exclusively in psychiatry. My goal is to provide compassionate, individual, patient-centered care helping patients to live their best life. I would describe my practice style as casual, professional, thorough, and warm.  It is an honor and a privilege to work alongside individuals on their path to mental wellness.

Torres is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a rich background in emergency services and a passion for psychiatric care. Her journey began as a paramedic and firefighter, where she cultivated her commitment to helping others in urgent situations. In 1998, she became a Registered Nurse, further solidifying her foundation in healthcare.

Eager to expand her knowledge and skill set, Krisnamor pursued her Master’s degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. While she initially worked in family practice, her true passion for mental health led her to specialize in psychiatry, where she has found her calling.

Krisnamor is particularly interested in neuro-developmental conditions, advocating for patients with unique challenges to achieve optimal mental health and well-being. Her holistic approach combines her clinical expertise with genuine compassion, making her a trusted ally in the journey toward mental wellness.

 

When she’s not caring for her patients, Krisnamor enjoys spending quality time with her family, immersing herself in captivating books, and engaging in various art-related activities. Her diverse interests enrich her approach to healthcare, allowing her to connect with patients on a deeper, more personal level.

Michelle McDaniel is a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Florida. In 2023, she graduated from Herzing University and became board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo Campus, in 1998 and earned her Master’s in Nursing Science from Sacred Heart University in 2003. Additionally, Michelle has contributed to the academic community as a Nursing Instructor at both Sacred Heart University and Ana G. Méndez University. Professionally, Michelle has gained valuable experience at the Caribbean Healthcare System (VA) in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Her extensive background includes inpatient and outpatient care, focusing on diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Cynthia Coe is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 22 years of mental health experience working in direct patient care facilities. She started her nursing career by receiving a Nursing Program Diploma from Georgian College, Ontario Canada in 2003. Cynthia began working at a maximum-security facility in Penetanguishene, Ontario Canada where she provided pharmacotherapy, psychoeducation, pharmacological education for patients, administered medications, performed the medical screen and triage of patients, and provided initial and daily nursing assessments.
In 2010 she accepted an RN position with the Virginia Department of Corrections at a State Mental Health Institution for inmates with a broad range of mental health needs. There she developed and implemented individual treatment plans for patients to include pharmacotherapy, psychoeducation, and initial assessments.
In 2022 she completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree through Walden University. Cynthia joined OPA Behavioral Health on June 2023 where she has the opportunity to work with mental health patients and make a difference in their lives as they recover their mental health capacities. Molly Fragiacomo is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing and board certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in 2023. Prior to earning her Master’s degree she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and a second Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Polk State College. She has worked with psychiatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and has experience with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked as a nurse for over 7 years in several areas such as, cardiology, hospice care, and case management. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 young sons, and being outdoors in her free-time. Molly is passionate about helping those with psychiatric illnesses and issues and is committed to helping her patients find hope and courage to take care of their mental health.
Alicia Brady is a Florida board licensed and certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. With a bachelor of science in psychology from Jacksonville University she spent many years as a counselor/case manager completing psychiatric care in various communities to assist in mobile crisis team, inpatient and outpatient settings. Alicia completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree at Galen College of Nursing in 2020 and her Master of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville University in 2024. Her background specializes in adult, adolescent, child, and substance use care throughout inpatient psychiatric facilities. Alicia is passionate about psychiatric care. Her goal is to improve the lives of her clients by providing outstanding care that meets them where they are to advance their daily experience of life. In her free time, Alicia loves to spend time with family/friends, travel, and attend amusement parks.
Xiomara Coffman is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She works collaboratively with individuals across the lifespan to support emotional wellness, resilience, and personal growth. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey. She began her healthcare journey as a registered nurse on medical-surgical hospital floor transitioned to in home-hospice care and eventually worked her way to being a nursing supervisor in an acute psychiatric hospital. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been working with children, adolescents, and families since 2005. She worked for 6 years at a Day-Treatment Program that served adolescents involved with the juvenile justice system and other at-risk youth. She held positions as Director of Treatment and Director of Operations during her time with that program. Katie also has over 6 years of experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting where she provided individual, group and family therapy to the patients with whom she served. Katie began providing therapy in an outpatient setting in 2016 serving clients ages 6 and up with individual and family therapy and is also trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, which is very effective in treating conditions such as, but not limited to, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and some personality disorders. Katie joined Orlando Psychiatric Associates in 2019 as Director of Therapy Services and is excited to be a part of the OPA team and to contribute to the excellent quality of care that OPA provides to our Central Florida community.

Miriam Ormsby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is certified with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training and is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional. Specializing in trauma, grief, anxiety, abuse, perinatal issues, parenting, geriatric, divorce, war trauma, and other life issues, Miriam has worked with children, adults, and couples as individuals and/or in groups, in office and in hospital settings. Some other populations she’s worked with include new mothers, military, Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and has experience as a Therapeutic Recreational Director for special needs and the elderly. She has been counseling since 1998. Miriam is a member of the UCF Women’s Club providing assistance and scholarships to new and upcoming student professionals. Other specializations include Physical, Sexual, and/or Emotional Abuse and Neglect, and uses individual Strengths Perspective, as well as EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic Theory.

Judymar Rodriguez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. She earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. Judymar works with a person-centered and strengths-based approach, while incorporating mindfulness and holistic principles. Judymar believes the work of a counselor is to help guide clients honing into their full potential, and reaching the goals they want to achieve. She helps individuals learn to understand themselves, hone in on their values, view other perspectives, and create healthier relationships in their lives. Judymar incorporates authenticity, genuineness, and empathy into her work, to help create a safe and comfortable space for all diverse client systems. Judymar works with children, teens, and adults individually. Claribel Diaz was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. She graduated from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Arts with a major in Psychology. She attended graduate school at University of Phoenix in 1998 in master’s degree in counseling. Claribel continued her doctor degree in Nova Southeastern University of Florida in Education. She has worked with children, adolescent, adults, couples, and families. Claribel Diaz has a strong base of counseling experience working in a wide variety of settings that include: Partial hospitalization, Private Practice and Neuropsychiatrist Clinic, University and Community Settings. Her specialty areas include depression, bipolar disorder, general mood disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, paranoid personality disorder, disruptive behavior, oppositional defiant disorder and attention deficit hyperactive disorder. She is also experienced in the areas of premarital, marital and family therapy. She brings over 17 years of experience working in the mental field. Ida Rivera is a Hispanic Masters Level Practitioner in Florida. She is a graduate of Webster University, St. Louis, MO (Orlando, FL Campus) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health, Marriage and Family and Guidance Counseling, with an undergraduate from the Catholic University, Ponce, PR and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign languages: French, Spanish, English and Education. Ida is a retired Educator/Instructor having taught Middle, High School, and Adults – Job Site ESOL. She has had post-graduate training counseling populations in: community mental health within the Crisis Stabilization Unit-CSU- Baker Act Facility, CORE Certified – Domestic Violence Trained, Florida State Mediator Certified, College, Grade schools, In-home, and Inpatient/Outpatient settings. Ida currently works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families providing both psychotherapy and mental health assessments with a specialization in Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapy. She has counseled various populations with dual-diagnosis issues that include: depression, anxiety, mood disturbance, and severe trauma along with chemical dependency/abuse issues. Keith is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. He devotes his life and work to those suffering from mental illness. His approach and techniques reflect evidence-based improvements over the last 25 years in mental health treatment technologies. Keith began his counseling career at Stockton University. He has degrees in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has over 25 years’ experience with direct therapy, supervision, administration and consulting. Keith has worked in the nonprofit sector as well as private practice. He opened his first private practice in 2013 with a goal of reducing insurance driven therapy. Sara Ochoa is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Florida. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Sara works with an integrative and strengths-based approach, while incorporating mindfulness and holistic principles. Sara believes therapy is a collaborative process between herself and her clients. She helps individuals, families and couples to understand and respect one another, acknowledge. define, and negotiate their difference, and resolve conflicts into safe, supportive, and healthier relationships. Rachel Rosado Tavárez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at OPA Behavioral Health. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ms. Tavárez earned her master’s degree in Psychology with a major in Mental Health Counseling from Albizu University in Miami, FL, and graduated with distinction. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. She completed her clinical practicum internship at Mercy Behavioral Health in Hialeah, FL where she obtained experience with adults with a range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and prolonged grief. Currently, she provides bilingual mental health services in English and Spanish to children, adolescents, and adults at OPA. She utilizes evidenced-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Behavioral Parent Training. Ms. Tavárez is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth.
Dianna Bingaman is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. Dianna has a history of working with clients to improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, cognitive distortions, substance abuse and trauma. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. Dianna works with evidence-based therapeutic practices to assist her clients into understanding their mental health needs and how mental health and physical health correlate. She has knowledge and experience in individual, family, and marriage counseling as well as a substantial history in substance abuse counseling. Dianna has her certification in domestic violence, trauma focused therapy and adoption competency. Dianna works with ages 7 thru adults individually and in group settings. Dianna has been working in the field since 2008 in various different settings.
